The toolkit is tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sierra Leone and is based on insights from a series of investment-readiness bootcamps led by Acumen in 2021 and 2022, which indicated that firms in Sierra Leone require substantial pre-investment support to become viable impact investment prospects.
